Choosing a color for your item is one of the most exciting parts of the powder
coating process! Candy Red, Gloss Black and Mirror Silver are a few of the
most popular. Textured and translucents are also available. Metals differ greatly
and some colors or finishes are better than others depending on the item. That’s where
a professional can really be helpful. You might have your heart set on gloss black
for the rims on your '67 Camaro. Those old rims are likely to have pockmarks that
won’t cover well with gloss black. In fact, glossy colors will highlight imperfections
and should only be used on the smoothest surfaces (no matter how fine the grain,
